Will my material fit in Emerald’s Kettle?
Call us to discuss your project. There are many sizes and shapes we can accommodate.
206-782-8300 What are your shipping and receiving hours?
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please inform your drivers we are closed 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm for lunch. After-hours receiving is available by appointment only and is an extra charge if it will fit into our schedule. Typically, this is only arranged for emergencies.
What are your turn-around/delivery times?

Usually 5 to 7 business days, with advance notice of delivery. Expedited service is available upon request for an additional fee. Please call to confirm and pre-schedule deliveries when turn-around time is critical. Purchase orders must be marked "Expedite" if you need your order in a rush.
Can you provide or arrange for pickup and delivery?
Yes, however, it's usually best for our customers to arrange their own drop off and pick up.
We do have relationships with freight carriers and we will coordinate with them for you, based on arrangements you have made. We don't generally handle shipping so we probably won't be as efficient with it as you would be. Our shipping department is willing to help you find the right shipping to get your product here, so do ask us if you need our help. We can also advise you on international shipments from Canada, Mexico and beyond. We're glad to help you find the right shipping if you don't already have your own truck.

How do I open an account with Emerald?
Net30 accounts are opened with a bank reference and credit sheet from your accounting department. Please email bookkeeping at officegalv@gmail.com to request an application. We typically open accounts within a week.

What is your standard operating procedure?
At Emerald, our processes are simple. Wait times are short, and our customer service is stellar. When you walk into our small family-style business, you are appreciated & treated with respect. You may use the restroom in the warehouse and fill your water bottle with our purified water, or grab a cup of tea or coffee in our main office.
1. Customers should email purchase orders (with either a PO# or Job Name) to our General Manager at egalvinc@outlook.com Emails are replied to as soon as possible with a price and lead time. We respond to most email within minutes.
2. Orders are received in our yard & tagged with the customer's information. We do not weigh parts when we receive them, or count the pieces - Unless the customer has specified they wish to pay labor fees for this type of work.
3. The order is processed, and we call the customer when it's ready to be picked up. Parts are weighed & re-tagged with the customer's information. Galvanizing adds approximately 5% to the weight of the order. Orders are charged a price per lb.
4. The customer picks up their order and is billed through email to accounting. For C.O.D. orders, please bring cash, a check, or credit card when picking up your order. We prefer payment by check. If not paying with a check, please be patient and wait while our office prepares your paperwork.
5. Payment receipts, invoices, and conformance letters are sent out by email within 2 days. To request a letter of conformance, please email bookkeeping at officegalv@gmail.com.
